Multifactor Dimensionality Reduction (MDR) was originally developed to detect gene-gene interactions in the domain of human genetics. MDR uses constructive induction to capture interaction information. The open-source MDR software package is available in Java and comes with an easy to use GUI with many interactive features including graphical output. For more information see:
